The owner of Core Crown Point, Kelly's teaching journey began in 2008 at the Southlake YMCA. Kelly draws from her personal training and group fitness experience, intertwining multiple disciplines with her Pilates sequencing. 


Kelly is certified in Reformer Pilates and Bodhi Suspension Training from Balanced Body, as well as completing a variety of other fitness trainings.


Opening Core Crown Point in 2018 has enabled Kelly to fulfill her passion for offering safe and effective classes for all ages, all bodies, and all levels of students. She hopes the welcoming and spa-like atmosphere of Core lets students feel the world melting away, allowing them to focus on themselves and their fitness journeys.

Tish is a retired computer programmer who discovered Mat Pilates in 2007 after the birth of her 4th child. She loved the integration of exercise and stretching and was hooked from the first class. 


Tish began teaching Pilates in 2013. She is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through the National Pilates Certification Program and is comprehensively trained and certified through Balanced Body. 


Pilates inspires Tish in so many ways, both physically and mentally. She loves teaching and helping others achieve their goals. With Pilates, there is always something new, fun, and functional to discover!

With a background in gymnastics and physical therapy, Beth felt a natural progression had led her to Reformer Pilates. She has combined her passion for education and teaching posture awareness into her Pilates practice. 


Beth uses Pilates movements as a preventative health measure, as well as to fight against age-related physical challenges. She loves hearing her students’ stories on how Pilates has changed their lives! 


Beth loves both practicing and teaching Reformer Pilates. She is always working on new creative movements for her classes.

After a few years of taking Pilates Reformer classes, Katrina decided to expand her love for Pilates and train to become a certified Pilates instructor. Katrina is continuing her education to complete the Balanced Body comprehensive training and certification. 


Katrina loves that there is always something new to learn in Pilates. The different facets of Pilates allow both an enhancement and modification of workouts for every body type! 


Pilates has helped Katrina stay committed and connected towards her goals. She is grateful to be working towards a new career that she is passionate about, and where she can help others.

Kayla is a former special education teacher who is inspired to help others become their happiest selves. During private sessions, Kayla offers a variety of tools to support her clients' overall well-being, including Shamanic practices, Reiki, breathwork, and meditation. In class, she creates a supportive and inclusive environment where students can escape the pressures of the outside world, allowing them to focus on their own personal growth. Her goal is to help each student leave feeling empowered and successful!

Curious about adding a new form of exercise to her life, Jenn took her first yoga class in 2005.

Leaving class, she felt like “maybe it wasn’t for her”. In 2008, she gave it another try and took a

class with a teacher whose voice, energy, and teaching style would end up opening her mind

and heart to the incredible holistic healing and strengthening power of yoga. As Jenn’s practice

developed, she experienced a deep mind, body and breath connection that transformed the way

she thought about movement and wellness. Yoga became an invaluable tool for managing the

stresses of working in academia, dealing with the unexpected and navigating daily life.


To deepen her practice and share the gift of yoga, Jenn completed her 200-hour yoga teacher

training in 2016 through Dancing Feet Yoga in New Buffalo, Michigan. She has taught hatha,

vinyasa, gentle, yin, restorative and beach yoga classes across Northwest Indiana.


Jenn believes yoga is for everyone and strives to guide her students towards a place of

connection, awareness and acceptance of each moment just as it is, whether on or off the mat.

Her classes focus on movement guided by breath, balancing effort with ease, and leading from

the heart.

Allison Smith

Allison discovered barre in 2015. While finishing graduate school, she was looking for a fun and effective workout to ease some stress. She loved the combination of low impact and small, precise movements to create a full body and high intensity workout. The dynamic stretching increased both her flexibility and creates long, lean muscles-she’s been hooked ever since!

In 2016, Allison completed the comprehensive training program through Studio Barre & began teaching barre locally in Crown Point. She loved the atmosphere & and workout so much that she was motivated to became a barre Master Teacher Trainer in 2018 & in 2022, became a corporate trainer for the barre franchise headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. 

Barre continues to inspire Allison in so many ways and she personally loves pairing it with Pilates reformer classes & bootcamp for additional strength training. As a healthcare professional she recognizes how important health promotion & disease prevention is which is why she loves teaching fitness. She loves to help others reach their full potential while promoting a healthy & balanced lifestyle!

Katie discovered her passion for barre in 2019. She was instantly drawn to the high-energy, low-impact workout and the amazing sense of community that came with it. She became a certified instructor in 2021 to share her love for the workout and to help others feel just as empowered. Katie is dedicated to making her clients feel strong, confident, and motivated through movement.

When she's not teaching, Katie works full-time as a payroll professional. Her knack for numbers comes in handy when counting those final 10's - most of the time! 😉

Megan has a big passion for teaching and helping others. Megan is a second grade teacher by day and began her fitness instructor journey in 2012. Within both careers; she loves to teach, inspire, and help others grow! 


Megan’s fitness journey began in 2012 when she started teaching Zumba. Since then, she has gotten certified in group fitness which has led her to teach many different formats of classes such as: kettlebell, tabata, indoor cycling, barre, etc. 


Megan began taking barre classes at a local studio and completely fell in love with the workout. She loved how it was a workout like none other that was low impact, strengthening, toning, challenging, and so much more! She was motivated to instruct and became one of the instructors at the studio. Megan is excited to bring the barre shake and burn to Core!

Kelly has had a personal Pilates practice for over 10 years and pursued Balanced Body training 5 years ago.  She has been Comprehensively trained and certified for 4 years now.  She has previously worked for Pilates Center of NWI and most recently as a private instructor for clients post rehab at Physio Point.  


To date, she has been a substitute teacher at Core Crown Point and is taking new private and semi private clients here at Core.  She feels Breath and Movement are integral to life in abundance, and she loves that Pilates affords the human body strength and flexibility while preserving joint integrity as well.  She is pleased to accommodate modifications for various physical limitations.

Simple Wellness - BrynAlyn Evorik

BrynAlyn has been a wellness enthusiast her whole life, and a massage therapist since 2001. As owner of Simple Wellness, It is a career that has served her well while raising three amazing children! BrynAlyn has a passion for healing, health, and wellness. 


She specializes in therapeutic bodywork and trigger point therapy. She is very excited to join the team at Core Crown Point by bringing Simple Wellness to the studio. Her services will include 30, 60 and 90 minute massages.
