The owner of Core Crown Point, Kelly's teaching journey began in 2008 at the Southlake YMCA. Kelly draws from her personal training and group fitness experience, intertwining multiple disciplines with her Pilates sequencing. 


Kelly is certified in Reformer Pilates and Bodhi Suspension Training from Balanced Body, as well as completing a variety of other fitness trainings.


Opening Core Crown Point in 2018 has enabled Kelly to fulfill her passion for offering safe and effective classes for all ages, all bodies, and all levels of students. She hopes the welcoming and spa-like atmosphere of Core lets students feel the world melting away, allowing them to focus on themselves and their fitness journeys.

Tish is a retired computer programmer who discovered Mat Pilates in 2007 after the birth of her 4th child. She loved the integration of exercise and stretching and was hooked from the first class. 


Tish began teaching Pilates in 2013. She is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through Pilates Method Alliance and is comprehensively trained and certified through Balanced Body. 


Pilates inspires Tish in so many ways, both physically and mentally. She loves teaching and helping others achieve their goals. With Pilates, there is always something new, fun, and functional to discover!

With a background in gymnastics and physical therapy, Beth felt a natural progression had led her to Reformer Pilates. She has combined her passion for education and teaching posture awareness into her Pilates practice. 


Beth uses Pilates movements as a preventative health measure, as well as to fight against age-related physical challenges. She loves hearing her students’ stories on how Pilates has changed their lives! 


Beth loves both practicing and teaching Reformer Pilates. She is always working on new creative movements for her classes.

Kayla is a former special education teacher who is inspired to help others become their happiest selves. During private sessions, Kayla offers a variety of tools to support her clients' overall well-being, including Shamanic practices, Reiki, breathwork, and meditation. In class, she creates a supportive and inclusive environment where students can escape the pressures of the outside world, allowing them to focus on their own personal growth. Her goal is to help each student leave feeling empowered and successful!

 Meet Brittany! After four years of inspiring young minds as a 6th grade teacher, she discovered her true passion in teaching Pilates. She brings that passion into every session, helping others build strength and enhance their well-being. Whether in group classes or private sessions, you can count on being challenged, all while receiving her guidance and support.

Jenn N.

Jenn took her first yoga class in 2005. Leaving class, she felt like “maybe it wasn’t for her”. In 2008, a teacher whose voice, energy, and teaching style opened her mind and heart to the incredible holistic healing and strengthening power of yoga. Yoga became an invaluable tool for managing the stresses of working in academia, dealing with the unexpected and navigating daily life.


She has taught hatha, vinyasa, gentle, yin, restorative and beach yoga classes across Northwest Indiana.


Jenn believes yoga is for everyone and strives to guide her students towards a place of connection, awareness and acceptance of each moment just as it is. Her classes focus on movement guided by breath, balancing effort with ease, and leading from the heart.

 Allison found barre back in 2015 while finishing grad school and looking for a workout that was just for her. Big gyms felt overwhelming and impersonal, so she gave a group fitness class a shot—and instantly fell in love with barre. The energy, the music, the challenge… she was hooked! She became a certified barre instructor a few months later.

In 2018, she stepped into the role of Master Teacher Trainer and in 2022, she joined the Studio Barre Franchise as a Corporate Master Teacher Trainer, helping studios across the country elevate their training and connect through movement.

Her classes are musically driven, upbeat, and always fun. Expect a full-body burn with a smile—her goal: challenge you, cheer you on, and help you discover strength in places you didn’t even know existed.

Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, she can’t wait to meet you where you’re at in your fitness journey.

Megan has a big passion for teaching and helping others. Megan is a second grade teacher by day and began her fitness instructor journey in 2012. Within both careers; she loves to teach, inspire, and help others grow! 


Megan’s fitness journey began in 2012 when she started teaching Zumba. Since then, she has gotten certified in group fitness which has led her to teach many different formats of classes such as: kettlebell, tabata, indoor cycling, barre, etc. 


Megan began taking barre classes at a local studio and completely fell in love with the workout. She loved how it was a workout like none other that was low impact, strengthening, toning, challenging, and so much more! She was motivated to instruct and became one of the instructors at the studio. Megan is excited to bring the barre shake and burn to Core!

Kate began teaching barre in 2015 and is thrilled to be back after a meaningful break, bringing a signature blend of upbeat energy, clear instruction, and a killer playlist to Core. She’s passionate about helping people feel confident and strong in their bodies, creating a space that’s both welcoming and empowering. Her classes focus on intentional movement and those small-but-mighty barre moves that deliver a serious burn (hello, barre shakes). Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned barre babe, you’ll leave feeling stronger, more grounded, and proud of what your body can do. 

Outside of teaching you can find Kate taking reformer classes, playing with her dogs, traveling with her husband, or pretending to be a pro gardener.

We’re so excited to welcome Sophy to the team - while she’s one of our new instructors, she’s certainly not a new face around Core! She’s an experienced Pilates Queen - in our group classes & in private sessions. Now she’s completed her in-depth training & is ready to bring her love of Pilates to our Core family!

We know her, we love her, and now you’ll get to experience that perfect blend of calm, strength, and “yes…you will feel this tomorrow.” She believes movement should feel good, build confidence, and honor where your body is at.

With 10 years of personal training experience, Claudia has been teaching across the region and bringing serious heat to every class she leads. Her specialty? Mat Sculpt with a twist. Think Pilates-inspired movement mixed with mat work, strength training, and controlled movements to take the burn to a whole new level. 


If you love a class that’s equal parts strong, sweaty, and a little challenging in the best way, you’re going to love what Claudia brings to the studio.

 A former Louisiana native with over 25 years of ballet training under her belt, Courtney is so excited to bring adult ballet classes to the Core community!

From performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade to the streets of Disney, she has been dancing her entire life. Courtney’s passion for dance is contagious, and she loves watching people discover just how good it is for the body & mind.

Katie discovered her passion for barre in 2019. She was instantly drawn to the high-energy, low-impact workout and the amazing sense of community that came with it. She became a certified instructor in 2021 to share her love for the workout and to help others feel just as empowered. Katie is dedicated to making her clients feel strong, confident, and motivated through movement.

When she's not teaching, Katie works full-time as a payroll professional. Her knack for numbers comes in handy when counting those final 10's - most of the time! 😉
